SB 630 - Current law provides an exemption from regulation
by the Public Service Commission (PSC) for most services of
telephone cooperatives, except for exchange access, with a sunset
date of September 30, 1996. This act removes the sunset date and
removes entirely the language which prohibits the PSC from
suspending rates for proposed services provided by telephone
cooperatives.
