SCS/SB 694 - This act authorizes the University of Missouri
to appoint and employ police officers in the same manner state
colleges and universities are currently authorized to appoint and
employ college or university police officers under sections
174.700 to 174.706, RSMo. Such officers shall take and subscribe
to an oath of office and may expel persons violating the rules of
the institution from public buildings, campuses and grounds.
Such officers shall also satisfy certain police officer training
requirements. Existing law authorizing the University to
employee watchmen is repealed.
