SB 717 - This act would allow the State Highways and Transportation Commission to provide financial assistance to owners of any privately owned airport designated as a reliever airport by the Federal Aviation Administration. This act would also permit procurements for projects designated as emergencies to be made in an expeditious manner.
This act is similar to SB 725 from 1994, and SB 339 from
1995.
