SB 912 - This act permits the county boards that oversee
sheltered workshop facilities for those with developmental
disabilities to enter into intergovernmental agreements. Under
current law, the county boards have control over their
facilities. This act gives the boards control over the services
they provide as well. This act also changes the age of
eligibility under the definition of a disability from a condition
which originated before age eighteen to one that originated
before twenty-two years of age.
