To repeal section 575.090, RSMo 1994, relating to false bomb reports, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the same subject, with penalty provisions.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI,

AS FOLLOWS:

Section A. Section 575.090, RSMo 1994, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 575.090, to read as follows:

575.090. 1. A person commits the crime of making a false bomb report if he knowingly makes a false report or causes a false report to be made to any person that a bomb or other explosive has been placed in any public or private place or vehicle.

2. Making a false bomb report is a class [A misdemeanor] C felony.
