To amend chapter 577, RSMo, by adding one new section relating to safety on bridges, with penalty provisions.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI,

AS FOLLOWS:

Section A. Chapter 577, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 577.115, to read as follows:

577.115. 1. No person shall jump or dive from any public bridge where it crosses a river or lake within the boundaries of this state.

2. Any person violating this section shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor.
