Relating to court costs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, no victim, as defined in section 595.010, RSMo, shall be liable for the costs associated with the filing of criminal charges against the offender, or the costs associated with the issuance or service of a warrant, protection order, or witness subpoena associated with a domestic violence offense.
