Relating to real estate transactions.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. 1. When required, an inspection for evidence of wood destroying insects in real estate transactions shall be performed by a certified commercial applicator or by a person working under the direct supervision of a certified commercial applicator, licensed to perform termite pest control pursuant to chapter 281, RSMo.

2. No person shall hold himself or herself out as an inspector for evidence of wood destroying insects in real estate transactions unless such person is a certified commercial applicator or a person working under the direct supervision of a certified commercial applicator, licensed to perform termite pest control pursuant to chapter 281, RSMo.
