                              FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Office of State Courts Administrator assume that the
proposed legislation would not result in any appreciable change in the volume
of civil litigation and therefore reported no fiscal impact.

DESCRIPTION

The proposed legislation would define the term "volunteer civic activities"
and would provide that volunteers not be held civilly liable for acts or
omissions which would amount to ordinary negligence in connection with their
volunteer work. However, this section does not provide immunity for damages
occasioned by gross negligence or by willful or wanton acts or omissions.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
