DESCRIPTION
This act provides for an option to the establishment of a sewer district in a
county of the second classification as set out in Sections 249.763-249.810.
Under existing law the board of supervisors is elected. This act provides
for an appointed board of five members.
The act also provides for the creation of a sewer district in an area of a
second classification county and an adjoining area of a city which is not
connected to the city sewer system at the present time.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
