DESCRIPTION

The legislation would require moving violation convictions to be sent
directly to the Department of Revenue by the courts. Suspended imposition of
sentence dispositions would not be sent to DOR unless a commercial motor
vehicle was involved. These reports would no longer be sent to the
Department of Public Safety.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
