FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Department of Public Safety - Missouri State Highway Patrol
and the Capitol Police assume that this proposal would have no fiscal impact
to their agency.
Officials of the State Courts Administrator assume that after a period of
adjustment, there would not be a significant increase in the workload of the
courts.

DESCRIPTION
This proposal would prohibit any driver from operating a motor vehicle with a
sound amplification system which could be heard from a distance of 50 or more
feet. Emergency vehicles, utilities, parades and special events would be
exempt. Failure to comply with this proposal would be a class C misdemeanor.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
