ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Department of Revenue, the Department of Economic
Development, and the Office of Secretary of State assume this proposal would
not fiscally impact their agencies.

DESCRIPTION

This proposal would remove provisions of the Kansas and Missouri Metropolitan
Cultural District Compact which were enacted in TAFP SB 133 (1995), but which
were not enacted by the Kansas legislature.

This proposal contains an emergency clause and would be in full effect upon
passage and approval.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
