DESCRIPTION
This legislation would allow the Department of Highways & Transportation to
issue special permits allowing movement of oversize loads of farm products
between sunset and sunrise, subject to certain requirements. It contains an
emergency clause, and is to be effective upon passage and approval.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
