FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
No fiscal impact would be expected on the budget of the Department of Revenue
(DOR) as a result of this proposal.
Officials from the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) stated that no additional
FTE or equipment would be needed to implement this proposal. MVC assumes
that there would be 15-20 additional off-premise sales per year by entities
covered under section 2 of the proposal, 20 x $250 = $5000 potential
additional income to the MVC fund, in addition to approximately 5-10 new
dealers license x $175 each = $1,750 per year, for a total estimated income
to the MVC fund of $6,750.
