DESCRIPTION
After January 1, 1997, the proposed legislation would require that a student
who enrolls in mortuary school have a minimum of an associate degree prior to
applying for licensure as an embalmer in Missouri.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
