                              FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Office of State Courts Administrator (CTS) would expect
some cases to explore the parameters of the law, after a period of
adjustment, CTS would expect substantial compliance with the law and would
not expect any significant workload impact.

Officials from the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) stated they would be able
to comply with the provisions of the legislation with existing resources and
staff.

Staff from the Office of Attorney General (AGO) stated they would need one
(1) Assistant Attorney General with related Expense & Equipment to provide
legal representation to the Administrative Hearing Commission.

Staff from the Administrative Hearing Commission (AHC) stated they expect the
fiscal impact would not be appreciable because there would probably be few
cases in a given year.

Oversight assumes that given the information provided by AHC, no additional
staff would be required by the AGO.

No fiscal impact would be expected on the budget of the Department of Revenue
(DOR) as a result of this proposal.
