ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Department of Public Safety - Missouri State Water Patrol
assume that this proposal would have no fiscal impact to their agency.
Officials of the State Courts Administrator assumed that while there may be a
small increase in the number of cases prosecuted, after a period of
adjustment, they would not expect the increased numbers of criminal
prosecutions to be significant.

DESCRIPTION
This proposal would prohibit any person from jumping or diving from a
commercial passenger boat. The offense would be a class C misdemeanor.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
