DESCRIPTION
This act would allow the city of Springfield to enter into a contract with
Greene County for the distribution of tax revenues before conducting a vote
authorizing the collection of such tax. Such an agreement would control the
distribution of the tax revenues until the tax expires or until the parties
modify the agreement.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
