DESCRIPTION

The proposed legislation would prohibit a candidate or office holder from
knowingly accepting a contribution from an owner, employee or lobbyist of an
excursion gambling boat operation.  Additionally,  owners, employees and
lobbyists of excursion gambling boat operations would be prohibited from
making contributions to office holders and candidates.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
