Legislative Achievements
- Reformed Missouri's election law to make it illegal for politicians to keep campaign contributions for personal gain
- Closed tax loophole that had cost Missouri $160 million
- Responsible for the first $16 million in the state's emergency "Rainy Day" Fund which prevented a state tax increase during the Great Flood of '93
- Responsible for legislation that provides long-term health care coverage availability
