     To repeal section 567.020, RSMo 1994, relating to prostitution, and to enact in lieu thereof two new sections relating to the same subject, with penalty provisions.
     Section A. Section 567.020, RSMo 1994, is repealed and two new sections enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as sections 567.020 and 1, to read as follows:
     567.020. 1. A person commits the crime of prostitution if he performs an act of prostitution.
     2. Prostitution is a class B misdemeanor, except as provided in subsection 3 of this section.
     3. Prostitution is a class C felony if the person has a previous conviction for prostitution and illegal drugs were in the person's possession in the current conviction.
     Section 1. In addition to any other punishment allowed by law, the judge may suspend, for one month, the driver's license of any person convicted of prostitution or patronizing prostitution and the act occurred in a motor vehicle within one thousand feet of a private residence.
