AN ACT

Relating to the authorization of the conveyance of certain lands by the department of mental health in Jackson County.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

     Section 1. 1. The governor is hereby authorized and empowered to sell and convey certain real property owned by the state of Missouri located in Jackson County and controlled by the department of mental health.

     2. The land to be conveyed under the authorization in this section is Lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, block 1, Coleman Place subdivision, according to the recorded plat thereof, subject to easements, restrictions, covenants, declarations and reservations that are of record.

     3. Compensation for this conveyance shall be negotiated by the commissioner of administration after consultation with the director of the department of mental health. The proceeds of such conveyance shall be deposited into the mental health housing trust fund pursuant to the provisions of section 215.054, RSMo.

     4. The instrument of conveyance shall be approved as to form by the attorney general.
