SB 343 - The act makes numerous changes in the law regulating excursion gambling boats. An excursion is defined as a two to four hour time period, as defined by the Gaming Commission, for the purpose of collecting the admission fee. Patrons of an excursion gambling boat may use the tokens issued by the boat to purchase items while on the boat. The Commission shall set the hours of operation for all excursion gambling boats.

The Commission may require the licensing of persons who provide goods or services to a licensee under an arrangement where payments are based on the earnings of the licensee. Persons conducting business on premises owned by an excursion gambling boat licensee may be required to obtain a license from the Commission.

Final decisions of the Commission may be appealed within thirty days in the Court of Appeals for the Western District of Missouri.
