SJR 18 - This is an amendment to Article IV, Section 15 to allow the State Treasurer to invest state funds not needed for current operating expenses in bankers acceptances and commercial paper issued by domestic entities. Such investment would be limited to issues possessing the highest rating and maturing within one hundred and eighty days.
The Treasurer would also be required to prepare a
comprehensive written investment policy.
