In their response to the original version of this proposal, officials of the
Department of Transportation and the Department of Public Safety - Missouri
Highway Patrol indicated that this proposal would have no fiscal impact on
their agencies. Oversight assumes that the amendments to the proposal would
not change their assumptions.

This proposal would not have direct fiscal impact on small businesses.
DESCRIPTION
The proposal would give transportation corporations the authority to enforce
the collection of tolls for the use of bridges in conjunction with the
Department of Transportation, the Highway Patrol and other law enforcement
officials, subject to approval by the Missouri Highways and Transportation
Commission.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
