FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
The proposal would not be expected to affect small businesses directly.
DESCRIPTION
The proposed legislation would allow Dental Hygienists to practice their
profession without the continuous supervision of a dentist. Dental
Hygienists would be required to be employed by a duly registered and
currently licensed dentist or such other person or entity approved by the
Board in accordance with the rules promulgated by the Board.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
