ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Office of State Courts Administrator (CTS) would expect
some cases to explore the parameters of the law, after a period of
adjustment, CTS would expect substantial compliance with the law and would
not expect any significant workload impact.
Officials from the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) stated they would be able
to comply with the provisions of the legislation with existing resources and
staff.
No fiscal impact would be expected on the budget of the Department of Revenue
(DOR), Administrative Hearing Commission (AHC), or the Office of Attorney
General (AGO) as a result of this proposal.

proposal.
DESCRIPTION
The proposed legislation would modify motor vehicle franchise statutes.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
