No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of
this proposal.

DESCRIPTION

Under current law, the Director of the Department of Public Safety may
contract for services to be provided to assist crime victims, but the
contracting entity must provide a cash match for any state moneys received.
This proposal would repeal those restrictions.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
