DESCRIPTION
This proposal would increase the penalty for prostitution to a Class C
felony, if the person has a prior conviction and has illegal drugs in their
possession in the current conviction.
It would also give a judge discretion to suspend the driver's license of any
person convicted of prostitution, or patronizing prostitution, if the act
occurred in a motor vehicle within 1000 feet of a private residence.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
