ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Office of Governor, the Office of Lieutenant Governor, the
Office of Attorney General, and the Office of Administration assume this
proposal would not fiscally impact their agencies.
Department of Mental Health (DMH) officials state the property was originally
purchased by DMH for construction of a scattered group home. DMH also states
that they have no plans for its use. DMH was not able to determine a cost
value or appraised value of the property.

this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would authorize the sale of specific lots in Jackson County,
and authorizes the Commissioner of Administration to negotiate the sale after
consulting the Director of the Department of Mental Health. The form of any
contracts would be reviewed by the Attorney General, and proceeds of the sale
would be deposited into the mental health housing trust fund, pursuant to
section 215.054, RSMo.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
