DESCRIPTION
This act specifies the process by which any nonincumbent Congressional
candidate files a signed, written term limits pledge.
Failure to sign such a pledge or signing a statement declining the pledge
results in the candidate having the information "DECLINED TO PLEDGE TO
SUPPORT TERM LIMITS" printed next to his or her name on the ballot.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
