FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Marion County Commission assume there would be no fiscal
impact to the county.
Oversight assumes this proposal would allow the county to recoup the costs of
providing administrative services from any specific purpose Capital
Improvements Fund. Currently certain counties provide legal, administrative,
or financial services for specific funds and are unable to recoup costs.

DESCRIPTION
The act allows any county commission to impose an administrative service fee
on the special purpose capital improvement funds to recover administrative
costs related to the fund. Current law allows the county to impose
administrative fees on the county road and bridge fund and the county park
fund.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
