ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Missouri Sheriffs' Association, Department of Economic
Development - Professional Registration, Department of Public Safety -
Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Department of Revenue assume that this
proposal would have no fiscal impact to their agencies.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of
this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would define the rights of funeral processions and the
obligations of those responsible for them. Pedestrians and operators of
vehicles would be required to yield to a funeral procession, with exceptions
for emergency vehicles and law enforcement. The Department of Revenue would
be required to publish the motorist's responsibilities in its driver's
handbook.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
