ASSUMPTION
No fiscal impact would be expected on the budget of the Motor Vehicle
Commission (MVC) as a result of this proposal.
Officials from the Office of Administration (OA), Administrative Hearing
Commission (AHC) anticipates few new hearings under this legislation and no
appreciable fiscal impact. However, if there are many more hearings, there
could be a fiscal impact reflected in future budget requests.

elected to invoke the protections of this act, and any additional
documentation at that time would be minimal.
DESCRIPTION
The proposed legislation would create the motorcycle franchise practices act.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other
program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental
space.
