This bill allows special license plates bearing the "Children's
Trust Fund" logo to bear as many letters and numbers as will fit
on the plate without damaging the plate's aesthetic appearance.
Presently, such plates must bear, along with the logo, only four
letters or four numbers or a combination thereof.
FISCAL NOTE: Estimated Net Increase to Highway Fund of $247 for
FY 1998, $787 for FY 1999, and $787 for FY 2000.

on Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations by a vote of 12 to 0.

PROPONENTS: Supporters say that they would like the same number
characters on the license plates as on other special plates.
Testifying for the bill were Representatives Dougherty and
Donovan; and Missouri Children's Trust Fund.
OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
