COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass" by the Committee on Tourism,
Recreation, and Cultural Affairs by a vote of 18 to 0.

This bill prohibits the transfer of any unexpended balance
remaining in the Missouri Humanities Council Trust fund to the
credit of the General Revenue Fund.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say this legislation will make a
technical correction to legislation that was passed a couple
years ago.  The intent was to build the trust fund so humanities
can fund needed projects.

Humanities Council.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
