SB 286 - This act establishes the composition and appointment of the Missouri Citizens' Commission on the Compensation of Elected Officials, as well as the General Assembly's ability to approve, reject or modify the recommendations, subject to the Governor's approval.

The commission terminates on 1/1/2001. The bill becomes effective upon passage of a constitutional amendment pertaining to the same subject.
