SB 305 - No person shall operate a pickup truck upon a state highway with any other person riding in the open bed of the truck. The act also prohibits riding in the bed of the truck. An exception is made for beds containing seats with safety belts. The penalty is increased if a child under age 18 is riding in the bed, from an infraction to a Class C misdemeanor.
