SB 366 - This act pertains to county boards for developmentally disabled persons, also known as "SB 40 Boards".
The act permits the county boards to enter into intergovernmental agreements. When so cooperating, the board may serve persons other than those who qualify for services under their authority, provided that none of the board s local funds are used for such services. The act provides that the county boards shall have the discretion to direct the use of the local tax revenues for any authorized purpose. The act also changes the age of eligibility under the definition of a disability from a condition which originated before age eighteen to one that originated before twenty-two years of age.
