SB 299 - The act could increase the per diem paid to legislators when they are in Jefferson City. The amount paid under current law is $35 and this act could increase that amount up to $86. Eighty six dollars per day is what the federal government has authorized when its employees are in Jefferson City.

The per diem paid to judges attending judical conferences would be increased to the amount of the federal per diem for the city where the conference is held.
