CCS/HCS/SB 387 - This act provides that the court clerk, at the court's direction, shall administer the funds resulting from a sale of land in partition.

The act also permits a sheriff or commissioner making a sale of real property to accept cash, a cashier's check, money order or other negotiable instrument from party adjudged to have an interest in the property, which may be in the amount of the difference between the bid and the value of the equity in the property.

The act has an emergency clause.
