SB 531 - This act increases the amount of retirement
compensation received by judges who retired prior to August 28,
1995. The increase is equal to the total of all annual cost of
living increases for the number of years the judge has been
retired up to August 28, 1997, not to exceed sixty-five percent.
Current law allows for this type of increase for the interim
between a judge's eligibility to retire and actual retirement if
retirement occurs after August 28, 1997.
