SCS/SB 576 - This act expands the available reasons for
being excused from jury duty. The additional reasons include:
service with two years; registered nurses; financial hardship;
citizens over 70; citizen having care of child under 10 whose
health or safety jeopardized; care of aged infirm persons; and
necessary employees of small businesses.
