HCS/SB 579 - This act authorizes the Governor to convey property which was to have been used for construction of a Missouri Army National Guard facility.
The land had been conveyed by the City of Osage Beach with the provision that if the National Guard facility was not built within five years, the property would revert to the City of Osage Beach. The time has elapsed and the National Guard does not plan to use the property.
This act also authorizes the Governor to convey a roadway easement comprising a portion of St. Joe State Park in St. Francois County to John A. Hilton, and in exchange, John A. Hilton agrees to convey property bordering St. Joe State Park to the State.
The Attorney General shall approve the instrument of each
conveyance.
