SCS/SBs 582 & 706 - This act provides two changes for local regulation of billboards:
(1) Any city or county may regulate the size, lighting and spacing of billboards more restrictively than state law. Current law is limited to cities with a city engineer on the planning commission.
(2) No city or county may charge more than a $500 initial
inspection fee or a $100 annual business tax per billboard.
