SCS/SB 621 - This act allows the Division of Design and Construction of the Office of Administration to divide projects into multiple parts and to separately contract for such parts. The Commissioner may acquire insurance in an amount greater than the State's liability under Chapter 537, RSMo (Sovereign Immunity) for the project. Moneys paid to the Office of Administration for leased space shall be placed in the State Facility Management Fund.
A person building a facility to lease to the State is not
required to pay the prevailing wage.
