such extended benefit
shall cease whenever the child ceases to be a student.  A college
or university shall be deemed to be regularly accredited which
maintains membership in good standing in a national or regional
accrediting agency recognized by any state college or university.</P>

<P>	86.390.  1.  Each person who becomes a member of this police
retirement system pursuant to the provisions of sections 86.370
to 86.497 shall remain a member until the earliest to occur of
the following events:</P>

<P>	(1)  The termination of service of such person and the
payment to him of all benefits due him pursuant to the provisions
of sections 86.370 to 86.497, unless such termination of service
with the police department shall be for the purpose of entering
military service in a national emergency;</P>

<P>	(2)  The termination of service with the police department
to enter military service in a national emergency and the failure
of such person to return to police service with such department
withVote corporate stock in person or by general or limited proxy;</FONT></FONT></P>

<P><FONT SIZE="-1"><FONT FACE="Century Schoolbook">	(10)&nbsp;&nbsp;Contract for the provision of board, lodging, education, medical care, or
necessaries of the protectee for periods not exceeding one year, and renew any such contract
for a like period.</FONT></FONT></P>

<P><FONT SIZE="-1"><FONT FACE="Century Schoolbook">	6.&nbsp;&nbsp;If, in exercising any power conferred by subsection 5, of this section, a conservator
breaches any of the duties enumerated in subsection 1, he may be surcharged for losses to the
estate caused by the breach but persons who dealt with the conservator in good faith, without
knowledge of or reason to suspect the breach of duty, may enforce and retain the benefits of
any transaction with the conservator which he has power under subsection 5 of this section
to conduct.</FONT></FONT></P>
