AN ACT

To amend chapter 261, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the department of agriculture.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A.  Chapter 261, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 261.107, to read as follows:

261.107.  Records and documents submitted to the department of agriculture relating to financial investments in a business, or sales projections or other business plan information which if released or otherwise made public may endanger the competitiveness of a business, or records and documents submitted to the department relating to tax credits or other financial assistance that is awarded by the department may be deemed a "closed record" as such term is defined in section 610.010, RSMo, and may be discussed in a meeting that has been closed pursuant to section 610.022, RSMo.
