FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate stated that this proposal would not affect their agencies, fiscally.
Officials of the Missouri State Employees Retirement System and the Joint Committee on Public Employee Retirement stated that the proposal would not affect enough persons to have measurable impact on the MOSERS system.
Advertisement costs for the proposal would be $3,990 per newspaper column inch for three printings of the text of the proposal, the introduction, title, fiscal note summary, and affidavit. The proposal would be on the ballot for the November 1998 general election.

No direct fiscal effect on small businesses would be expected due to this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would repeal term limits for state legislators and limit service as Speaker of the House of Representatives or President Pro Tempore of the Senate to four years for any person.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
